All our cubbies are designed to sit directly on to the ground. They are very big and solid so aren’t going anywhere! They are easily relocated and just one of the reasons they are perfect for rentals!
One of the most restrictive things about renting is the feeling of not being able to make a home truly your own when you are limited to what you can and can’t do in the home and yard. Painting or decorating walls and even hanging what is deemed to be too many pictures can be not allowed in rentals. You don’t want to invest in any items for the home or back yard that you can’t take with you, but you want this home to feel like home when you live there, whether that’s for 6 months or 10 years! You still want to be able to do all the things you want to do with your family, like have an awesome, fun back yard, but it has to be something that you can take with you if you choose to leave.
This is where a My Cubby Cubby House is perfect! Because you don’t have to cement them in, it’s yours always, a true member of the family! Because it’s ALL YOURS, you’re also free to decorate it inside and out however you like! The whole family will have so much fun having input into the colours and look of the cubby, with no restrictions (except from Mum and Dad!) We’ve outlined some painting and decorating tips here.
With one of our sturdy, build to last cubbies you don’t have to compromise and not have the backyard space that you really want for your family. You can enjoy all the fun, educational and health benefits that come with having a cubby regardless of whether you rent or own that backyard!
If you need help relocating your cubby, we can even help you with that!
If you live in a high wind/cyclone area you will need to concrete stirrups into the ground, and the cubby legs will get bolted in to the stirrups. This method still allows for easy relocation!
